CATS / PRODUCT COMPARISON

Catit Vesper Treehouse Medium multi-level cat tree

A climbing tree and a low hideaway solve different problems. Before choosing between these two Catit models, decide whether you need height or a smaller piece of furniture.

The size difference

ModelPublished sizeMain format
Treehouse Medium, #5211628.3 W × 22.6 D × 49 H inchesFour-level activity tree
Minou, #5210114.17 L × 14.37 W × 15.94 H inchesBench scratcher and hideaway

Those are the manufacturer’s overall measurements, not a promise about usable resting space. Mark the outline in your room and check the current instructions for positioning and installation.

Treehouse Medium: consider it when height is the point

Catit lists a sisal scratching post, fabric hideaway, hammock perch and removable cushions. It also offers replacement parts. This is the model to investigate if you want several levels in one piece and can accommodate its full width and depth.

The trade-off: it is still a substantial object. We would not call it a compact choice simply because it is sold in a medium size. Confirm the footprint, nearby access and assembly requirements before buying.

Minou: consider it when you want a low hideaway

Minou combines two openings, a cushion and a detachable sisal mat. Catit lists separate replacement parts. Its low format is a different option to investigate when a tall tree is not what you want.

The trade-off: it does not provide the Treehouse’s multiple climbing levels. Check the opening and usable interior space for your cat. Confirm local availability and the exact model through Catit or a retailer before ordering.

How we would decide

Start with the job, then the measurements. For a climbing area, investigate the Treehouse and read its installation instructions. For a low scratch-and-rest spot, investigate the Minou. If neither fits the room or your cat, keep looking rather than treating either as a universal winner.
