This notice explains how Everyday Pet Finds, at https://everydaypetfinds.com, handles information when you browse the site, leave a comment where available, or contact us.

Privacy and contact questions: contact@everydaypetfinds.com.

Information collected when you visit

Hostinger hosts this WordPress website. Hosting and security systems may process technical details such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, visit time and error records to deliver pages, protect the site and investigate problems. We use LiteSpeed Cache to help pages load efficiently.

Comments

Where comments are open, WordPress collects the information you enter in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser information for moderation and spam prevention. Approved comments and the display name you provide may be public. Your email address is not displayed with your comment. Avoid including private information in a public comment. Profile avatars are disabled.

Email

If you email us, we receive your address, message and any information you include. We use this to respond and handle your request. Our domain address forwards through Namecheap to a Gmail inbox. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

Cookies

WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and preferences. Visitors do not need an account to read our articles. If you leave a comment and choose to remember your details, WordPress can store your name, email and website in convenience cookies for just under one year. You can leave that option unchecked.

We use Google Analytics with advanced consent mode. Before you choose, or if you decline Analytics cookies, Google receives limited measurements without reading or writing Analytics cookies. These can include page visits, consent status and technical request information. They do not provide an exact count of individual visitors. It helps us understand page visits, referral sources and general device information. We strip query strings and fragments from the page and referring addresses sent by our tag. Advertising features and enhanced interaction measurement are disabled. Signed-in editors are excluded.

If you choose “Accept analytics cookies,” Google Analytics can store cookies beginning with _ga to recognize visits in the same browser. We set their lifetime to 180 days. We also save your accept or decline choice in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. Choosing “Decline analytics cookies” keeps Analytics cookie storage denied while limited cookieless measurement continues. Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any public page to change your choice; withdrawing consent removes our Analytics cookies from this browser.

We have not enabled advertising pixels or embedded video players. Hosting, security and caching services may use technical cookies where needed to operate the site. You can also review, block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect some features.

Images and external websites

Some images load from Pexels or Amazon image servers. Your browser connects to those providers to display the image, sharing technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Following an external link takes you to a website with its own privacy and cookie practices.

Amazon shopping links may include our affiliate tracking ID. Amazon handles purchases, payment details, delivery and its own tracking technologies. We do not collect payment information or operate a checkout on this website. Our Link Disclosure explains our affiliate links.

How long information is kept

Comments and their moderation records may remain while the related discussion is maintained. Correspondence is retained as needed to answer questions, resolve issues and keep necessary business records. Hosting logs and backup copies are subject to the hosting provider’s retention arrangements. Removing information from the active site may not immediately remove it from existing backups.

Your choices and requests

You can contact us to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or request deletion. Depending on your location and the circumstances, privacy laws may give you additional rights. We may need to verify a request and retain records where required for legal or security reasons.

Service providers

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Their policies provide more information: Hostinger, Namecheap, Google, Pexels and Amazon.
